IS Standard : IS/IEC 61730 (Part-1), IS/IEC 61730 (Part-2)
All models and brands of PV Modules(Si wafer and Thin film) are required to get BIS Registration before its launch or import to the Indian consumer market. BIS Registration will be given to manufacturer only (not to dealer/trader or distributor) whether manufacturer is in India or in abroad does not matter. Please refer Info section for more details.
