All Carbon steel cast billet ingots, billets, blooms and slabs for rerolling into steel for general structural purpose are categorized under IS 2830. All models and brands that meets IS 2830 standards are required to get ISI Certification before its launch or import to the Indian consumer market. ISI Certificated will be issued to the manufacturer only (not to dealer/trader or distributor) whether manufacturer is in India or in abroad does not matter.
