All Cold rolled non-oriented electrical steel sheets and strip-fully processed type (CRNO) are categorized under IS 648. All models and brands that meets IS 648 standards are required to get ISI Certification before its launch or import to the Indian consumer market. ISI Certificated will be issued to the manufacturer only (not to dealer/trader or distributor) whether manufacturer is in India or in abroad does not matter.
