All Refillable Seamless steel gas cylinders Part 2 Quenched and tempered steel cylinders with tensile strength less than 1100 MPa (112 kgf/mm^2) are categorized under IS 7285 (Part-2). All models and brands that meets IS 7285 (Part-2) standards are required to get ISI Certification before its launch or import to the Indian consumer market. ISI Certificated will be issued to the manufacturer only (not to dealer/trader or distributor) whether manufacturer is in India or in abroad does not matter.
