All Residual current operated circuit breakers for household and similar uses-Part 1 Circuit breakers without integral overcurrent protection (RCCBs) are categorized under IS 12640 (Part-1). All brands that meets IS 12640 (Part-1) standards are required to get ISI Certification before its launch or import to the Indian consumer market. ISI Certificated will be issued to the manufacturer only (not to dealer/trader or distributor) whether manufacturer is in India or in abroad does not matter.
