All Steel plates for pressure vessels for intermediate and high temperature service including boilers are categorized under IS 2002. All models and brands that meets IS 2002 standards are required to get ISI Certification before its launch or import to the Indian consumer market. ISI Certificated will be issued to the manufacturer only (not to dealer/trader or distributor) whether manufacturer is in India or in abroad does not matter.
